What’s Going On?

If your yard stays wet, it’s usually one of three things: water is landing in the wrong place, the ground can’t absorb it, or the slope is working against you.

We figure out which one it is, then build the right fix.

Drainage Troubleshooting

Not sure what you need? We’ll start by looking at where the water is coming from, where it’s collecting, and where it should be going. A lot of drainage problems are actually a runoff or slope issue, so we identify the cause first, then recommend the cleanest fix (downspout routing, french drain, catch basin, grading, or a combo).

French Drains

French drains are great for yards that stay wet long after it rains, especially in low spots or areas with heavy clay soil. We install a hidden drainage system that collects groundwater and moves it away from the trouble zone, helping reduce standing water, soggy patches, and muddy areas that never seem to dry out.

Catch Basins / Channel Drains

When water is running across the surface like a mini river, near driveways, patios, side yards, or bed lines, a catch basin or channel drain can collect it fast and send it where it needs to go. These are ideal for heavy-flow areas and spots where water needs a clear “pickup point” instead of pooling or washing things out.

Downspout Routing / Extensions

If your downspouts dump water next to the house or into a low spot, that runoff can create puddles, washouts, and foundation-side soggy areas. We extend or reroute downspouts, so roof water exits in the right direction. Away from the home and away from problem areas, so the yard dries faster and you stop chasing the same puddle every storm.

Grading / Re-sloping

Sometimes the issue isn’t a drain, it’s the way the yard is shaped. If the slope is working against you, water will keep rolling to the wrong places. We re-grade problem areas to guide water away from the home and toward a proper exit path, helping prevent pooling, erosion, and constantly wet lawn sections.
